Exceptional Children

The Exceptional Children's Program here at First Flight Middle School focuses on supporting our students during the transition from elementary school to middle school, throughout 6th-8th grade, and in preparation for high school. We offer a variety of educational placements that meet individual student needs as well as many opportunities for participation throughout the school setting (e.g. clubs, school programs such as recycling, social groups, extracurricular activities, etc.).

Some classes are actively involved volunteering and exploring various places in our community as part of their middle school experience. We pride ourselves on offering flexible programming that meets the needs of our students so that they can access the general curriculum successfully and reach their full potential. We are a family, who working together with our students and parents, strive to make the middle school experience rewarding, educational, and memorable!
